DIRECTV Calendar is a functionality that allows clients to create and manage calendar events and notifications for any TV or online streaming programs shown on the DIRECTV websites. It will sync with any site/app using standard iCalendar format and is principally aimed at customers who value live events (ie. sports fans) or those without DVR service.

I led a collaborative ideation/sketching exercise that established the basic functionality/flow of the app in a half day workshop, with automatic buy-in from stakeholders, instead of the typical week + iterative review sessions for this type of work. I then worked with a lead UX designer to translate these sketches into detailed wireframes which were then advanced to visual design.
